Serving Cambridge, Belmont and the Outer Cape —
and helping to bridge life changes as my clients buy and sell properties along the Charles and Pamet Rivers.
What does the word “river” mean to you? What images come to mind? Rivers are written about, sung about, dived into, paddled on, drunk from. Rivers are life-giving. A river carried Huck away from his frustrated life; Jim hoped the river would take him to freedom. “Peace live a river attendeth my way” goes the old hymn. Artist Jim Schantz best describes the evocative river in his River Imagery collection: “The experience of the river landscape provides moments of quiet reflection, solitude and contemplation. The river is literally and allegorically the source of life…As a metaphor for the journey of life, the river is the ever changing path…”
All my life I have been attracted to water, and have been lucky enough to live near a lake, river or ocean. Since 1993, when I moved to Massachusetts, I have had the good fortune to live and walk along the Charles River in Cambridge — and to spend time paddling on Truro’s Pamet River.
For 17 years I have enjoyed a very successful career listing properties and helping buyers in the Greater Boston area. But I also love the history, the architecture, and the serenity of Truro. Why not work there too? Why not be able to take care of my clients and friends along both rivers — the Charles and the Pamet?
By expanding my well-established Cambridge and Belmont real estate business to the Outer Cape, I will have the opportunity to provide my usual personalized service to customers in both areas – helping clients and friends as they move back or forth to downsize, retire, buy or sell a primary residence, second home, or a pied-a-terre.
That is 2 Rivers Realty…
